When we were planning our trip to Florida we were looking for campgrounds along the highway so we would not have to travel anymore than we had to get to it. We found such a campground on I -65 exit 58 at Horse Cave Kentucky. This was a good stopping place for the day for us and the campground was set up nicely for the one night stays. They have some sites which around turn outs instead of pull throughs which were nice since we wanted to stay hooked up if possible. The staff were very friendly and as it wound up we stayed here again on our way home.
